Return Policies -

Lighting Returns

We truly hope you are satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, our return policy provides for the return of any non-installed items in the original packaging within 30 days.

Return requirments

  • Was your item delivered within the last 30 days?
  • Is the item in the factory carton complete with all original packaging?
  • Are all lampshades in original wrapping?
  • If your return meets the above criteria, please call email returns@collectionred.com or call 508.878.6794 to speak to your salesperson and request a return. 

VERY IMPORTANT

  • Returns will be accepted with prior authorization only.  Any returns received in our warehouse without an issued return authorization number will be ineligible for a Collection by Red refund and will only be returned to you at your expense.
  • The entire item must be returned in its original packaging, including all wrapping and factory carton.
  • Please do not write or put any markings on the outside of the carton. In an effort to reduce waste, your carton may be reused.
  • The item must be packed exactly as it was shipped.  Any slight variation can cause damage or scratching to the piece and could invalidate your return.
  • Installed or customized items may not be returned.
  • Shades purchased individually may not be returned.
  • Web special sales are a final sale.

Restocking Fees

  • All returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.   
  • Returns on expedited orders will automatically be charged a 25% restocking fee.
  • Shades missing original wrapping will be subject to a $25.00 per shade restocking fee.
  • Please note you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping, including insurance for the full retail value of the item.
  • If you require UPS pick up service, there will be an additional $8.00 fee per pick up.

The exact amount of the refund less applicable restocking fees will be determined once the fixture has safely reached our warehouse and been inspected. 

This process generally takes 7 to 10 days after the product reaches the warehouse.  Your credit card will then be credited for the appropriate refund based on our inspection, and a copy of the return credit will be emailed to you at that time. 

 

Wall Covering Returns

We recommend you purchase an extra double roll or spool of the pattern you choose. For any reason, should you need more than your calculations indicated, you will have extra at the time you need it, in the same run number. Having extra product on hand also allows for possible repairs later, if needed.

We also know that from time to time, you may wish to return a portion of your order or even your entire purchase. In this case, FOR RETURNABLE MERCHANDISE: A 25% to 35% restocking fee, depending on the distributor, which will be deducted from your purchase price with the balance to be refunded to your credit card.
All returns on authorized returnable products must be made within 30 days from the time the product is delivered to you. Only uncut, unopened products, in their original factory packaging, are returnable.

Shipping charges for returned merchandise are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not refundable.
 
 

PLEASE NOTE THESE ITEMS:

Case-priced wallpaper, case-priced borders, murals, 54 inch commercial goods, customized/personalized items, wallpapers and fabrics which are priced per yard, wallpapers and fabrics which are imported to the United States or shipped from the United States and samples are non-returnable. Also, any products stated as non-returnable by a wallpaper representative at the time of purchase or noted as non-returnable in the Product Detail section on our website are non-returnable.

You must obtain a Confirmation Number and the correct return address.

Confirmation Number for returns you need to e-mail us with this info. Name, Address,City,State,e-mail,your order # ,Date received,pattern #,Cost per unit,Amount returning,totals and reason for returning

Be sure to include your order number, your name, and the products and quantities you wish to return. Do not return any products without the Return Authorization Number and the instructions on where to return the product.
